Since 1897, this elegant hotel on the Binnenalster lake in Hamburg has been offering charming luxury and timeless elegance in the heart of the Hanseatic city to guests from all over the world. Exquisite restaurants and modern rooms and suites await you at this traditional five-star hotel.
The task was to develop a website that reflects the HVJ ‘feeling’ and provides the user with the best usability. The site should provide a quick overview of the restaurants, all room categories and various offers.
The integration of booking options and reservations via BookaTable is part of the easy usability. Employees can use the ‘Contao’ CMS system to update and maintain constantly changing content, such as menu cards, offers, news or images.

Our aim was to implement the four main topics ‘Room category overview’, ‘Restaurant overview’, ‘Event location overview’ and ‘Spa and fitness’ in a user-friendly way. The viewer should be able to quickly grasp the diversity of the hotel and find out more in detail. With the Call2Action buttons, the user can book a room or reserve a table at any time.

This module allows all restaurants to present their services, menus, opening hours, cuisine and contact details at a glance. This makes it easy for the entire marketing team to exchange files and maintain service content. The user also benefits from the module, because with just a few clicks, they can immediately get a detailed overview of the various restaurants.
