‘Xanadu Luxury Villas’ is the epitome of luxury, privacy and relaxation.

With a total of nine individually designed villas, Xanadu offers its guests from around the world exclusive luxury in the authentic African-Arabian ambience of a green oasis on the sunny coast of Zanzibar. Chefs from Tanzania, South Africa and other countries indulge guests with international and local cuisine. Spa treatments on the beach and a private butler service also ensure the utmost relaxation during your stay.

We were given a completely free hand by the customer for the corporate design and the design of the website. Our goal was to create an appearance that reflects the look and feel of the resort. The 14-day video production and photo shoots on site gave us an accurate picture of the special and sustainable architecture, the proximity to the beach, the climate, the service, the atmosphere and the people, which ultimately led us to a very specific idea for the implementation of our designs.

The architecture of the villas, as well as the colours of the plants and the Indian Ocean, inspired us to create a new logo design and corporate colours.

The integration of booking options and reservations via the existing Nightsbridge booking system also ensured a seamless transition from the old to the new website. In addition to regular website maintenance, Tablo is now also responsible for search engine optimisation (SEO) for Xanadu.

In addition to the unique architecture under palm trees, the ambience, with exotic flowers and trees, ensures an incomparable sense of privacy that can be enjoyed here. Due to the lush vegetation, an aerial view would not provide an overview of the resort, as some villas only protrude slightly from the lush greenery. We have therefore opted for an illustrative representation of the resort, which serves both as an overview of the grounds and as a navigation tool between the individual villas.

Xanadu Photography

The challenge was to capture the villas at the best time of day. Due to the lush vegetation, which in many places extends over the terraces and roofs, the position of the sun was first determined for each scene before we were able to shoot the most important scenes with models in just a few days. The content without models was then created in a further 10 days. This means that we have an extensive pool of photos and video recordings to serve the website, all print products and social media channels.
