Elegant web design for an iconic venue

Nikkei Nine Hamburg

The Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nikkei Nine is the place to be in Hamburg's city life. Located in the "Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten", it entices guests with a selection of exotic dishes and a wide range of cocktail creations. The lovingly designed interior is a testament to modern class and stands for charming luxury. Our main task was to reflect the charm and image of the restaurant on a website. The customer wants to regularly update the content and enable its guests to reserve tables online. Furthermore, new image and film content is produced for the website at regular intervals.

The colour scheme was darkened to match the existing corporate design, using purple and gold as main tones. Elements from the interior patterns and colours were integrated into the website.

The spirit of Nikkei Nine, digitally served

As a creative agency, we designed the restaurant’s website to visually and emotionally reflect its unique brand identity. Inspired by the interior design and guided by the restaurant’s branding elements such as color schemes, typography, and tone of voice, we created a digital experience that feels like an extension of the physical space. The result is a seamless connection between online presence and on-site atmosphere.

Onepager Website Concept

The website was designed as a onepager to create a smooth and intuitive user experience. As visitors scroll, they transition seamlessly from one section to the next, just like walking through different areas of the restaurant. This format allows the brand story, design elements, and key information to unfold naturally, all within a single, cohesive page.

Move with the times!
Videos embedded in sliders

A special feature of the Nikkei Nine website is the way videos are embedded in a slider gallery. The employees are introduced authentically in short film sequences. Clearly placed buttons provide quick access to the different menus, allowing guests to explore the cuisine with a single click.

Development of four website mockups

To explore different creative directions and ensure the best possible outcome, we developed four distinct website mockups. Each concept focused on a unique interpretation of the brand’s identity, layout structure, and user experience. This approach allowed for a collaborative decision-making process, giving the client a clear visual understanding of the possibilities before moving into the final design phase.

Logo & landing page design for events and masterclasses

We designed custom logos and matching landing pages for the restaurant’s small events and masterclasses. Each design captures the unique character of the event while staying true to the overall brand identity, created efficiently to suit their short-term, one-time nature.
