The Hotel Zur Tenne is a historic landmark in the heart of Kitzbühel, characterised by alpine charm and genuine hospitality. As part of the extensive renovation, we developed a digital presence for the hotel in the form of the temporary website “Tenne im Bau”, which communicates the progress of the refurbishment and specifically builds anticipation for the reopening. To complement this, we created photo and video content that showcases the character of the hotel even during the refurbishment phase and provides high-quality support for the hotel’s brand communication.

A website as a sign of presence

“Tenne im Bau” is not just a temporary website, but a digital platform that ensures the hotel remains visible throughout the renovation phase. It brings together information, provides guidance and makes the hotel’s transformation clear to guests, partners and interested parties. In this way, the brand remains visible and the connection to the hotel is maintained even during a period of change.

Focus on the refurbishment

The website documents the hotel’s renovation process, showcasing the property’s development step by step. A key feature is the integrated webcam, which provides transparency and allows guests, partners and interested parties to experience the work in progress. At the same time, the digital presence serves as a unifying element throughout the renovation phase: it keeps the brand in the public eye and strengthens the connection with all those who are already associated with the hotel or are eagerly awaiting its reopening.

Photos and videos for a special transitional phase

To complement the website, atmospheric photographic and video content was created that focuses on the hotel’s surroundings. Snow, the landscape and the unique atmosphere of Kitzbühel come together to form a visual narrative that conveys a sense of identity and anticipation, without yet revealing the hotel itself. This creates a visual language that sensitively accompanies this period of transition and maintains the brand’s presence in a harmonious way.

Colours that tell the hotel’s story

The website’s visual design captures the unique atmosphere of this phase and draws inspiration from the hotel’s character, history and surroundings. Warm, understated tones create a look that not only complements the refurbishment but also lends it a distinct visual quality of its own. The result is a digital language that suits the hotel and elegantly frames the transition into a new era.
